MASTER DOMINIQUE TEISSEIRE
Head Coach
Description
Dominique Teisseire, fencing master and founder of the Olympia Fencing Club in Longueuil, trained internationally (France, Switzerland, Canada) and distinguished himself through his contribution to the development of fencing in Quebec and Canada.
In 1999, he founded Quebec's first fencing sports-study program. Technical Director of the Quebec Fencing Federation (2001-2025) and national foil coach for 10 years, he has accompanied Canadian teams to numerous major competitions, including the Pan American Games and the Youth Olympic Games.
His club has distinguished itself with more than ten Canadian championship titles.
HÉLÈNE LABARBE
Coach
Description
Since 2005, Hélène Labarbe has been coaching at the Olympia Longueuil Fencing Club, training athletes of all levels. A specialist in épée and NCCP Competition – Development certified, she was also the provincial épée coach (2020–2022).
She has twice managed the Quebec fencing team at the Canada Games. Her career has earned her several distinctions, including Coach of the Year (FEQ, 2017) and the Distinction Jeux du Québec award (2025).
